TP-Link Unleashes a New Router with Built-In Battery

Following the general tendencies in PC market, router segment also takes the direction towards compactness. Compact routers offer similar to standard solutions performance plus convenience while transportation. The line of products designed by TP-Link involves both, typical and compact routers.



Model TL-MR3040 is attributed exactly to compact solutions with one peculiar feature: built-in battery for 2000 mAh. The battery is able to operate up to four hours as access point under 802.11n standard. Router might be powered as from network adapter, so from a laptop via USB cable.

Recently the ASUS Co. has replenished its range of small-sized computers with the VivoMini UN65U sample, operated by the Windows 10 OS and based on the Intel Kaby Lake hardware platform.



The top version is equipped with the Core i7-7500U processor, the chipset has two cores with the 2.7 GHz frequency, which dynamically increases to 3.5 GHz. The Intel HD Graphics 620 accelerator is also installed. The capacity of the DDR4-2133 memory may reach 32 GB.


This minicomputer may obtain a 1 TB 2.5-inch HDD and a 512 GB М.2 SSD. Optionally one can mount the latest Intel Optane memory.

Conectarea PC-ului la Internet nu se poate realiza direct, fără asistent – modem. Modemul (modulator-demodulator) este un dispozitiv special, care transformă semnalul de linie furnizor de servicii digitale de date, pot fi recunoscute de calculator. Pentru a seta o alarmă între online și rețea de PC-uri de azi folosesc o varietate de canale (linia de cablu TV, linii telefonice sau stații de bază operatorii de telefonie mobilă) și speciale driverul pentru modem.

Moderne de modemuri sunt reprezentate de o gamă largă de modele cu diferite grade de construcție, principiul de funcționare și tipul de conexiune.

Pe partea de design, aceste dispozitive sunt împărțite în interne și externe. Interne model se conectează direct la placa de bază corespunzătoare PCIslot și nu au propria sursa de alimentare. Ele nu sunt diferite de înaltă performanță și nu permit vizual pentru a controla setările.

Dispozitivele externe sunt îmbrăcați în propriul corp și au sursa de alimentare. Se conectează la computer printr-un COM sau USB porturi și permit vizual de a controla condițiile de conectare, datorită prezenței indicatorilor de activitate.

În ceea ce privește principiul de funcționare modemuri, acestea sunt împărțite în hardware, în cazul în care toate operațiunile de transformare a semnalului se efectuează de către modem, și software-ul, în cazul în care pentru această funcție răspunde procesorul PC-ului de sistem. Pentru a asigura stabilitatea de conversie de intrare/ieșire, în valoare de doar pentru a descărca gratuit driverul pentru modem.

În cele din urmă, pe partea de conectivitate, modemurile pot fi împărțite în cinci tipuri: de cablu, analogic, telefoane, radio și ADSL. Dispozitiv de primul tip pentru conectarea la Internet folosesc tv sau cablu coaxial, dispozitive de al doilea tip – un cablu de telefon, al treilea tip de protocoale de rețea GPRS/EDGE. Conexiunea radio-modem se face cu ajutorul undelor radio, iar gadget-uri ADSL utilizează rețeaua de telefonie în propria gama.
