Company Thecus decided to introduce a new naming scheme for its drives, so that users can easily understand its product line. New names will have all future models.



In the name with length of five to seven characters will be encoded some information about the device. The first letter indicates the type of device: N — NAS running Linux, D — DAS, W — NAS running Windows, V — NVR. Spajanje RAČUNALA na Internet nije moguće implementirati direktno, bez asistent – modem. Modem (modulator-демодулятор) je poseban uređaj koji pretvara signal linije isp-u digitalne podatke, prepoznate računalom. Za namještanje signala između online mreže i RAČUNALA danas koriste različite kanale (linije kabelska TV, telefonska linija ili bazne stanice mobilne operatere) i poseban upravljački program za modem.

Suvremeni modemi ćete pronaći širok asortiman modela s različitim konstrukciju, princip rada i vrste veze.

U dijelu dizajna, ovi uređaji se dijele na unutarnje i vanjske. Domaći modeli se povezuju direktno na matičnu ploču u odgovarajući PCIslot i nemaju vlastiti napajanja. Oni se ne razlikuju visokim performansama i ne omogućuju vizualno praćenje postavke.
