Xigmatek Releases the Glare 7A Chassis Aimed at Gaming Desktops

The Xigmatek company introduces the Glare 7A PC case, intended for assembling gaming desktops, based on the ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards.



The specialty is performed in the Mid Tower form factor with such dimensions: 495 × 452 × 200 mm. One of its side panels is made of acrylic material, providing the full sight of inner system components. On the front one can see a tempered glass panel.


The Xigmatek framework allows mounting of seven expansion cards. The maximum length of discrete graphics accelerators equals 390 mm.


This chassis is equipped with four 120 mm fans (3 on the front and 1 at the rear) featuring red LED illumination. Besides, at the top it’s possible to locate three 120 mm or two 140 mm coolers. If using the liquid cooling system one may involve 120, 240, 280 or 360 mm heatsinks. The height of the CPU cooler is not to overcome 160 mm.

1250/1050 W Enermax MaxTytan Power Supplies Are 80 Plus Titanium Certified and Equipped with a Watt-Hour Meter

The Enermax company releases two new MaxTytan series power supplies of 1050 and 1250 W rated capacity. These products are 80 Plus Titanium certified and are highlighted due to the presence of the watt-hour meter in their construction, which monitors current system energy consumption.



The Enermax specialties are equipped with high temperature (105°C) capacitors, produced in Japan, and are protected from various abnormal modes. Through a 12V circuit the upper model can provide up to 104 А (1,248 W), and the lower sample — up to 87.5 А (1,050 W). Peak bearable power of these devices is 1,375 and 1,155 W.


Enermax MaxTytan components are chilled by 140 mm fans, based on Twister bearing. The fans start rotating only after load overcomes 70% of nominal power. The supply kit contains the CoolerGenie fan controller, allowing to enable chilling only after power consumption exceeds 40/55% of rated values. This is a new 27-inch solution in the company’s inventory, supporting Full-HD resolution and featuring a lot of viewing privileges.
