Zotac Launches a Duet of Nano Mini-PCs

Zotac always keeps a wary eye on the PC hardware progress. This time the company was one of the first manufacturers to integrate the latest Intel Core 8th Gen mobile processors (Intel Kaby Lake-R) into its line of mini-PCs. This is in reference to Zotac Mi640 nano and Zotac Mi660 nano models, codenamed ZBOX-MI640NANO & ZBOX-MI660NANO respectively.

 

Zotac Mi640 item is based on a 4-core Intel Core i5-8250U CPU, running at 1.6-3.4 GHz frequency. Meanwhile, the second item, Zotac Mi660, comes equipped with a more efficient CPU: Intel Core i7-8550U, operating at 1.8-4.0 GHz frequency. Both new-comers support CPUs with a customizable TDP level (10-25 W), though coming with a standard 15 W marker.

 

Mini-PCs employ iGPU Intel UHD Graphics 620 graphics core, a couple of SO-DIMM slots for up to 32 GB DDR4-2400 MHz modules. Storage subsystem includes a single 2.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD slot; additionally, there is a multimedia card-reader slot (SD/SDXC/SDHC). Network …

Scythe Launches One More Chassis with Austere Design

Many customers know Scythe primarily for its delivery of high-end coolers. Nevertheless, the company is gradually extending its assortment by other PC components. Thus, it decided to launch a new brand PC chassis, codenamed Case by Case 3, that will be distributed initially on the internal market. The model is developed in mid-tower form-factor and features classical austere design. Steel casing is totally painted black (from the inside and outside).



Case by Case 3 is able to accommodate motherboards of ATX and micro-ATX standard. As it was mentioned before, the chassis is characterized by austerity in design and absence of any ornamental elements or distracting insertions in framework. If you remember, we’ve already worked with the Bykski brand in the review of the FOUR series CPU water block. And I decided not to leave new Bykski FOUR Founders GTX 1080 withоut attention. Worth mentiоning that the FOUR sеries is cоlor-cооrdinated mаtch of fіttіngs, CPU wаter blоcks, and GPU water blоcks.
