EVGA Presents Its GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid Graphics Card With The iCX Technology Support

The EVGA vendor presented its novelty – the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid graphics card with the brand iCX technology applied. Nine additional thermosensors near main warming components on the PC-board are responsible for the hybrid cooling system operation. The air cooler cares for the power supply, and the water cooling system chills the video memory and GPU.



The enclosed water cooling system is delivered assembled and filled. The unit features a copper-based waterblock, pipes in braided cable and a heatsink with a 120 mm fan. The power supply has eight phases for the GPU and two phases for the video memory. There is also a backup BIOS chip, and EVGA PXOC software allows monitoring thermal sensors values.

HP Believes Its Portable Z VR Backpack Workstation Will Be of Benefit not Only to Gamers, but to Professionals As Well

At present many companies produce VR-compatible portable PCs performed in the shape of a backpack. Most of them are designed for gaming purposes; however, HP developers believe these systems can be also useful in professional spheres.



At the SIGGRAPH 2017 conference, HP presented its wearable HP Z VR Backpack workstation, resembling a backpack. The manufacturer claims it to be the most effective among similar devices due to the 4-core Intel Core i7-7820HQ mobile CPU, operating at the 2.9–3.9 GHz frequency, and the high-end mobile NVIDIA Quadro P5200 video card, based on the Pascal GP104 graphics processor with 2,048 CUDAs and the 16 GB GDDR5 memory. Storage capability is ensured by the 32 GB DDR4-2400 RAM and up to 1 TB SSD.


A couple of hot swap 55 watt-hour batteries enables HP Z VR Backpack wireless productivity. This HP specialty can operate as a desktop system while connected to a special docking station.

Recently, the main chipmakers offer three types of system logic for their platforms, which include top-end solutions for production systems designed also for extreme overclocking, average ones for most gaming systems and budget options for office PCs or undemanding users. Teknologi IR (infrarød -, IR-tilkoblinger som er designet for montering stabil trådløs tilkobling mellom din PC og enheter som er utstyrt med IR-portene. For øyeblikket er denne teknologien er ikke veldig populært, fordi fartsgrenser overføring av informasjon og liten radius av handlingen. Men, det segmentet av datamaskinen og profesjonell elektronikk komplette løsninger med infrarød tilkobling: skrivere, scannere, mobiltelefoner, web Cam, videoovervåkning utstyr etc.
