Akasa Blade: Solid Mid Tower for gamers and enthusiasts

Corsair to Release Hydro Series H5 SF Liquid Cooler

Taking into account the increasing number of cases when it’s impossible to install highly efficient air coolers on mini-ITX motherboards, Corsair has developed a universal low-profile liquid cooler. Entitled Hydro Series H5 SF, the unit shows compatibility with the majority of small-sized platforms for Intel LGA1366/115x and AMD FM1/FM2/AM2/AM3 sockets. Besides, this model is able to manage with up to 150 W of thermal power.



Corsair Hydro Series H5 SF is distinguished by an unusual framework. It employs dedicated props which hover the heatsink over the motherboard; thus, the system does not require additional space within the case. The base is made of polished copper.


The aluminum heatsink (167x40x57) is accompanied by a 120-mm fan that drags out hot air from heat-generating components. Its rotation speed varies from 1000 RPM to 1800 RPM, producing 12-24 CFM airflow. Still, the fan appears to be rather noisy with the peak levels of 36-42 dB.

Gigabyte Debuts with Socket AM1 Motherboards

Gigabyte is the first among AMD’s partners to introduce proprietary motherboards for an upcoming Socket AM1 platform. Initially the AM1 series will comprise only two models: the GA-AM1M-S2P and the GA-AM1M-S2H. Both feature micro-ATX form-factor and are supposed to house AMD Athlon/Sempron APUs. They employ two DIMM slots for the integration of up to 32 GB DDR3 memory with 1600 MHz frequency. The release is scheduled for March when the platform is officially introduced.



Gigabyte motherboards have got two SATA III 6 Gb/sec ports for the expansion of storage, one PCIe 2.0 x16, one PCIe x1 and one PCI connector for the connection of add-ons. Network functional consists of gigabit controller from Realtek, whereas audio functional is laid upon 7.1-channel HAD Realtek ALC 887 codec.

Video kaart, een belangrijk onderdeel van de hardware basis van stationaire en mobiele PC-apparaten. Zij is verantwoordelijk voor het omzetten van de grafische gegevens van beeld en het beeld wordt weergegeven op het beeldscherm. CPU – central processing unit), vaak computing voor het oplossen van niet-grafische problemen.

Door zijn multitasking en multi-functionele aard, GPU kunnen bieden ongekende productiviteit en prestaties in de meest veeleisende games (als u het downloaden van de juiste driver voor de grafische kaart), een uitstekende kleurweergave en beeld versnelling video-overdracht in films met hoge resolutie en fijne korrelgrootte van fragmenten in professionele grafische toepassingen.

Maar dit alles is alleen mogelijk onder de voorwaarde dat de "hersenen" van de videokaart worden regelmatig bijgewerkt. Het installeren en bijwerken van stuurprogramma ' s zorgt ervoor dat de geïntegreerde grafische kaart staat zal zijn om effectief uitvoeren van een breed scala aan unieke functies en, natuurlijk, om ons te verrassen met originele visuele effecten.
