LG Electronics established the reputation as the global manufacturer of consumer electronics long time ago, but it still amazes the community with ever newer products and approaches. Thus, lately the company has 'shared' the news about the forthcoming delivery of its monoblock units which belong to V720 series. The first two models to appear in the open sale will be V720-D.AE50K and V720-U.AE30K. The basic distinction of both units will be their ultra-thin casings and the integration of all chief system elements at the stand base.



The two models are promised to have as similar specifications, so different features to comply with various needs. Both are furnished with Bluetooth 4.0 modules, TV-tuner, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/b, card reader. There are USB 3.0 sockets, HDMI socket, and loudspeakers of 7W efficiency. Deepcool Industries comes out with the second revision of Assassin CPU cooler. The GamerStorm Assassin II is a dual-fan solution intended for hard-core users with thirst for utmost performance and noiseless operation. The model is compatible with most of AMD and Intel platforms, including AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+/FM1/FM2/FM2+ & LGA 775/1150/1155/1156/1366/2011/2011-v3.



Featuring 167x158x143 mm dimensions, the new-comer complies with all up-to-date requirements for high-end PC builds. Its framework comprises two aluminum heatsink blocks, consisting of 48 fins which are connected by means of eight nickel-plated heatpipes (6 mm each).


This cooler comes with two integrated fans, both based on fluid-dynamic bearing. This month Acer is going to start retailing of its novelty – a 27-inch Full HD monitor, called ED273Awidpx.



The specialty is based on the curved VA panel with the 1920 × 1080 px resolution. This display features the 4 ms response time and the 144 Hz refresh rate. Its brightness index reaches 250 cd/m2 and contrast level – 3000:1 (with the dynamic contrast coming up to 100 000 000:1). Viewing angles are 178 degrees (horizontally and vertically).


ED273Awidpx supports AMD FreeSync technology, which synchronizes image frequency between a graphics card and a monitor. Dedicated systems protect user’s eyes, while removing flicker and reducing blue backlighting intensity.


Signal sources connection is performed via digital DVI-D, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 interfaces. The stand allows angle of tilt adjusting in the range of 20°. The screen weighs 4.6 kg and has such dimensions: 613 × 168 × 466 mm.
