AMD is working intensely at the development of 8-core processors, the release of which is prognosticated for the 4th quarter of 2012. According to the preliminary data, AMD will release two models at once: FX 8320 and FX 8300. Such information could not but rejoice all customers using AMD FX processors on Bulldozer architecture, since the new CPUs are promised to be more efficient. The new processors will go with Vishera codename and will be built on the improved Piledriver architecture.Similar to the flagship model AMD FX-8350, the two models will be designed on the basis of 32 nm micro architecture. They will support DDR3 memory with the frequency of 1866 MHz and will have 8Mb of L3 cache-memory. The two models will also support Socket AM3+ slot.
