NZXT Rolls Out a New Chassis Phantom 630 Windowed Edition

NZXT has proudly announced the release of its newest PC chassis, codenamed Phantom 630 Windowed Edition. Being a modified version of Phantom 630 model, the ‘greenhorn’ is developed in ultra-tower form-factor, featuring a side-panel window. The case supports quite large motherboards (ATX, EATX, XL-ATX, and micro-ATX) and offers nine expansion slots.



Despite visual discrepancy with the original model, Windowed Edition preserved some of its basic features. Therefore, it allows for the integration of four 5.25-inch drives and eight 3.5/2.5-inch ones. The latter are installed into modular bays which can be removed if necessary. The chassis is ready to accept CPU coolers of 200 mm in height and long graphics adapters (up to 325 mm in length). In case the user decides to remove the internal drive bays, it will become possible to employ much longer adapters, up to 507 mm!

The Miners-Oriented Phantom Gaming M1 Radeon RX 570 Graphics Accelerator Is Officially Presented by ASRock

On a recent day ASRock has formally set forth the Phantom Gaming M1 Radeon RX 570 graphics accelerator and published its specifications on the official website. The specialty is designed for miners while possessing one video output only.

 

ASRock Phantom Gaming M1 Radeon RX 570 features 2,048 Polaris streaming processors, operating at up to 1,293 MHz in the OC mode. The memory subsystem is represented by 4 or 8 GB of GDDR5 mem with the 256-bit bus and the 7,000 MHz effective frequency. An extra power source is linked via the 6-pin PCI-E Power connector.

 

The cooling system of this ASRock product is rather simple. It takes two expansion slots and contains an aluminium heatsink with the copper base, several heat tubes and one ~80 mm fan, built on a double ball bearing. Image output, as it was already mentioned, is ensured by DVI-D.

Intel launched much talked-about CPU series of Broadwell-E generation, entitled Core i7. The items are based on 14-nm microarchitecture, targeting Socket LGA2011-v3 platforms. In order to integrate them within current lineup of mainboards on Intel X99 chipset, it’s vital to update BIOS.
