ROG Strix XG32VQ – the Latest Curved Monitor from ASUS – Belongs to the Gaming Line and Supports AMD FreeSync

ASUSTeK Computer reported the launch of the 31.5-inch ROG Strix XG32VQ gaming monitor retailing. Officially the product was introduced at the Computex 2017 event.



The device has a curved VA panel by Samsung, featuring the 1,800 mm curvature radius, the 2,560 x 1,440 pixels (WQHD) resolution, 300 cd/m2 max brightness, as well as wide viewing angles (178° horizontally and vertically). Unfortunately, the static contrast ratio is not indicated, it usually stands as 3000:1 with this type of displays. The novelty offers the 4 ms (GtG) response time, 144 Hz refresh rate and supports the AMD FreeSync technology. ROG Strix XG32VQ covers 125% of the sRGB colour gamut, which allows it to produce highly coloured and saturated imaging.

The Curved NEC MultiSync EX341R Monitor Is Equipped with a Presence Detector and a Light Sensor

A specialty by NEC Display Solutions Europe – a wide-format 34-inch MultiSync EX341R monitor – is intended for business people and financial experts.



Among key specifications of the device one should note a presence detector and a light sensor allowing to optimize setups according to current conditions. Ergonomic stand provides additional convenience and lets customize tilt, height and rotation.


Users can admire slim design and narrow bezels of this display with a 3440 × 1440 pixels SVA panel. The aspect ratio of the device is 21:9, the contrast factor is 3000:1, and brightness equals to 290 cd/m2. Viewing angles are claimed to be 178° horizontally and vertically.
