Enermax Platimax D.F. PSUs Hit the Market

Enermax launches a couple of platinum power supply units, earlier unveiled at the CeBIT 2016. The Platimax D.F. model is available in two versions – 500 W & 600 W – which boast 80Plus Platinum certificate thanks to 93% efficiency index. They are able to operate within 100-240 V voltage range at 10 A input. Featuring 150x160x86 mm dimensions, both PSUs can fit in any PC case.



Enermax Platimax D.F. units are furnished with a single +12V rail, estimated for 492/600 W power. At the same time the output power of +3.3 V & +5 V rails makes up 103 W. The hardware base includes high-quality Japanese capacitors as well as low-voltage DC-DC converters.


Cooling is secured by a single 139-mm fan based on Twister Bearing; it is thought to operate up to 160 thousand hours. The fan supports Dust Free Rotation technology that enables reverse rotation during the first 10 seconds.
