As part of Crucial brand, Micron Technology comes out with a new generation of RAM – the Ballistix Elite DDR4. It is developed in a pure black PCB with a powerful heatspreader and an integrated thermal sensor. Initially, the company releases planks of 4 GB and 8 GB, although in retail sale the products will be available in 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB kits. Pricing is unknown so far.



Crucial Ballistix Elite DDR4 memory operates at 2666 MHz frequency and boasts 21 Gb/sec throughput index. Its power-efficient facilities are 40% better than those inherent in DDR3 models with analogous clock frequency. This makes gaming process a delight due to intense responsiveness, optimized latencies, and increased frame rates.

ViewSonic Outs XG03 Gaming Monitors

ViewSonic has enlarged its lineup of gaming products with another series of monitors – the XG03. The lineup currently consists of two models: XG2703 & XG2703-GS. The key differentiation between them lies in the support for AMD FreeSync (the first model) and Nvidia G-Sync (the second model). Consequently, the GX2703 employs red accents in design, whereas the XG2703-GS uses green detailing.



ViewSonic XG03 is based on 27-inch SuperClear IPS panel, featuring 2560x1440 pixels & 165 Hz refresh rate. The display boasts 16:9 aspect ratio, 178/178 degrees viewing angles, 1000:1 static contrast, 120M:1 dynamic contrast, 300 cd/m2 maximal brightness as well as 4 ms response time.

Thermaltake Unveils Chaser A71 Full-Tower PC Chassis

Thermaltake has lately made an official presentation of a new full-tower chassis, entitled Chaser A71. The model features 565x205x537 mm dimensions and a rather stylish design. Its side panel contains an L-shape acrylic window that makes an exposure of all internal components. Moreover, the two out of four pre-installed fans are furnished with a bright blue LED that enigmatically illuminates the framework.



Being a full-tower solution, Chaser A71 is housed in a quite spacious case.
