Water 3.0: a New Series of Liquid Coolers from Thermaltake

Thermaltake, a viable designer of versatile PC hardware components, has recently unveiled its new series of liquid cooling systems. Entitled simply Water 3.0, the products constitute themselves as all-in-one cooling solutions with high efficiency and low noise level. The series is introduced by three models, — Water 3.0 Performer, Water 3.0 Extreme and Water 3.0 Pro, — targeting different customer groups.



All liquid coolers included into the lineup consist of a pump integrated into a waterblock, a copper base, a couple of 120 mm fans, and leak-proof pipes which protect the liquid from leakages or evaporation. Heatsink design is individual for each of the models. One should mention that Thermaltake delivers its liquid coolers with dedicated Windows-compatible software for the monitoring and adjustment of all key parameters, including fan rotational speed, liquid thermal conditions, and pump efficiency.

Plextor Prepares the Release of M5P SSD

Plextor is currently preparing a new SSD series, codenamed M5P. According to the forecasts, this series will be differentiated by high-performance characteristics and Serial ATA 3.0 interface. M5P will be represented by three models of 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB volume capacities. All the model lines are developed with the utilization of 19 nm technological process. In addition, all SSDs will be equipped with NAND flash-memory (MLC Toshiba) and Marvell 88SS9187 controllers.



Three models differ from one another by the flash-memory volume. Thereby, 128 GB models accommodates 256 MB of DDR3 cache-memory, 256 GB model – 512 MB, and the last one, 512 GB model – 768 MB. Those SSDs support SATA 6 Gb/sec.

Povezanost računalnikov v lokalno omrežje in njihovo Internetno povezavo, ne bi bilo mogoče brez posebne omrežne storitve. Te storitve zagotavlja izmenjavo podatkov med stroji, zagotavljanje oddaljenega dostopa za opremo in datoteke, ki se nahajajo na katerem koli RAČUNALNIKU v omrežju, in omogočajo več opravljati spletne transakcije (npr., pošiljanja e-poštnih sporočil, organiziranje video, itd.). Če želite ustvariti takšno omrežje, morate najprej naložiti gonilnike za omrežno storitev in protokolov.

Če želite uporabljati vse funkcije (storitve), ki jih omrežna storitev, na RAČUNALNIK, priporočamo, da za namestitev odjemalca storitev. Za isto storitev je lahko več strank, ki se razlikujejo po funkcionalnosti in vmesnik. Ko dostopate do strežnika s kakršno koli zahtevo stranke uporablja poseben Protokol (pravilo za storitev strežnika).

Za izvajanje Protokola, zadolžen za posebno napravo – usmerjevalniki. Njihova glavna naloga je, da združitev ločenih omrežij v eno samo sestavljeno omrežje za zagotavljanje skupnega dostopa do podatkov. Za prenos podatkov usmerjevalnik uporablja eno od več možnih poti (zaporedje, ki bi morala opraviti paketa podatkov, na poti od pošiljatelja do ciljnega vozlišča). Usmerjevalnik določa optimalne poti, pri čemer se upoštevajo merila, kot čas prehoda poti in kakovost povezave.

Vse obstoječe storitve, ki se izvajajo na dva načina: omrežni operacijski sistem (datoteka storitev in storitev tiskanja) in sistemske aplikacije/orodja (zbirke podatkov, faksi). Če želite konfigurirati vsako posamezno storitev je običajno, da uporabite gonilnike za omrežno storitev in protokolov.

Poleg tega pa so posamezne storitve, ne pa za rednega uporabnika in skrbniki sistema. Uporabljajo se organizirati delo v lokalno omrežje kot celoto, kot tudi za sistem za spremljanje, analizo omrežnega prometa, upravljanje uporabniških računov in drugih dejavnosti, zlasti.
