Rosewill, Californian hardware manufacturer, has gladdened its potential customers with a new PSU line codenamed Fortress. The major peculiarity of this line is that all products are characterized by rather high efficiency coefficient: up to 94% in 230 V alternating current networks. The new line involves models of 450W, 550W, 650W, and 750W showings which have already received 80 Plus Platinum certificate.

The inventory of graphics solutions developed by HIS has been replenished with a new original in design card based on Radeon HD 7850 adapter. Entitled HIS Radeon HD 7850 iPower IceQ, the card is stuffed with a three-slot IceQ cooler and substantial memory volume that equals to 4GB. In addition, this model supports iTurbo applet that promotes for the GPU and memory clock frequencies increase.



Graphics card from HIS is based on a two-layer copper printed circuit board. The latter houses soldered DrMOS elements instead of conventional transistors. The integrated GPU is furnished with 1024 current processors. Its nominal clock frequency equals to 860MHz but can be dynamically boosted due to iTurbo technology. The well-known in IT-maker Company MSI announced about appearance of new videoadapter based on GPU Tahiti XT chipset. Its diversity from the other Radeon HD 7970 can be seen with the naked eye, instead of an air cooler practically the entire surface of the PCB is covered with waterblock brand EK. It differs markedly from the original version, since it is designed specifically for the MSI R7970 Lightning model.
