TUL Takes Up Producing Brand PowerColor Graphics Adapter

TUL Corporation has announced the release of its brand high-performance graphics adapter, codenamed PowerColor Radeon HD 7950 Boost State Edition. The major peculiarity of the new product is the integration of GDDR5 memory type with 384 bit interface and support of multiple advanced technologies.

The model is based on black circuit board with the integrated Tahiti PRO chip, developed under 28 mm technological process. This chip accommodates 1792 current processors designed on Graphics Core Next architecture. This graphics adapter is compatible with PCI Express 3.0 x16 bus and DirectX 11.1 facility. The overall volume capacity of GDDR5 memory equals to 3072 MB. Heat management process is realized due to the two-slot cooling system of active type. The rear panel of the adapter is alloted for HDMI and DVI slots, as well as, for a couple of mini-DisplayPort ports.

The nominal frequency of graphics core equals to 850 MHz; nevertheless, the implementation of AMD PowerTune …

Sharp Promises to Start Selling Its PN-K321 Betimes

Official announcement of a new professional monitor from Sharp earlier in November grasped all analysts and customers into anticipation. This was dictated by the fact that PN-K321 (the codename of a new model) was claimed to employ IGZO semiconductors in their framework. The implementation of IGZO technology implied the launch of a product with a really high resolution. Sharp managed to successfully introduce this technological 'know-how' into its monitor and claimed the maximal resolution for PN-K321: 3840x2160.

Sharp PN-K321 features 32-inch display with 16:9 aspect ratio. It is known to support Ultra HD format that is still rarity in this segment. The display is based on IGZO semiconductors that are a combination of indium, gallium, oxide and zinc. They ensure wide viewing angles and brilliant color rendering. Brightness index is recorded at 250 cd/m2.

The model accommodates two built-in stereophonic speakers, the overall power of which equals to 4W, 3.5 mm audio slot, …

Intel Unveils Power-Saving Silvermont Architecture

Intel has just unveiled its new advanced working out: power-saving and high-efficient microarchitecture codenamed Silvermont. According to Intel, this architecture is primarily targeting devices with low power consumption and can embrace a vast production segment, starting from smartphones and finishing with datacenters. Silvermont is ready to demonstrate a threefold increase of performance and fivefold decrease of power consumption (with preservation of erstwhile efficiency), if compared with the current generation of Intel Atom cores.

Intel Silvermont has been elaborated in compliance with the norms of 22 nm technological process with the implementation of 3-D Tri-Gate transistors. The employment of new progressive techniques promotes for enhancing the operation speed and reducing energy demand of products which use Silvermont as the basis. Multi-core architecture with the support of up to eight cores ensures higher bandwidth, lower latency and more efficient operation on …
