The Launch of Motherboard Big Bang-ZPower from MSI is Round the Corner

On the threshold of international exhibition Computex ‘12, MSI has decided to boil up the interest of the potential customer audience to their new motherboard Big Bang-ZPower. So far, the company has highlighted only a few teasers, giving a superficial concept about their new product. There are not so many details revealed, but it’s definitely known that the motherboard will be based on Intel Z77 Express chips and support processors of Ivy Bridge and Sandy Bridge series.



The new Big Bang-ZPower is called to satisfy the needs of inveterate overclockers who appreciate might, functionality and framework. This model is intended to work with Intel Core i7/i5/i3 processors of the second or third generation in the implementation of Socket LGA1155. As seen from the teasers, the motherboard is equipped with the passive cooling system which employs heating tubes technology; in addition, this model will involve the enhanced power subsystem and UEFI with the diversified settings.

Patriot Memory Releases High-End Memory Modules

Patriot Memory yesterday announced the release of high-end DDR3 memory modules. According to the words of the company's representatives, their new modules are designed specifically with the intention to boost the performance potential of Intel Core processors (basically of the second and third generations). Codenamed Intel Extreme Masters Limited Edition, these modules are mainly oriented at the inveterate gamers and enthusiasts, ensuring the stable work of high-performance game consoles.



Intel Extreme Masters Limited Edition modules support Intel XMP 1.3 and are able to work at 1600 MHz, 1866 MHz, and 2133 MHz. The new memory modules will go in two-channel and four-channel kits and supplied in 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB volume capacities. The modules operate in 1.5V ranges.


In addition, Patriot Memory's product owns good heat removal properties. The cooling process will be realized by means of solid radiators which were previously employed by Patriot in Viper 3 Series …

Official Presentation of AMD G-T16R for Embedded Systems

AMD has replenished its product line with a new hybrid processor with appreciably low power consumption. G-T16R belongs to the Embedded G-Series line and is a part of AMD Brazos 2.0 platform. This APU is primarily destined for the embedded systems employment. AMD representatives stress out that G-T16R is an appropriate solution to be used in transport equipment, trade and cash desk stations, medical electronics, as well as in industrial administrative systems.



The company has managed to design its hybrid processor in a way to make it more saving than any other product of the same line. Thus, the average power consumption level equals to 2.3 W with Thermal Design Profile (TDP) of 4.5 W. Despite such low-power index, G-T16R is able to secure high performance showings which exceed the showings of the predecessor Geode LX three times as much.
